The advantage of implant-supported bridges is that the healthy teeth adjacent to the missing tooth or teeth remain intact. The pillars for such a bridge are actually implants. This allows for stable treatment and preservation of full and healthy bone tissue. In addition, the implant acts as a support for the crown by transferring all the forces generated by biting to the bone, which prevents its resorption, or atrophy, which is natural with missing teeth.
